Acrobatch has a passion for sharing circus with others and we love bringing circus experiences to people that may not have access to circus opportunities, including regional and remote communities. As we both started our circus journeys at a regional community festival in Karridale, its important to us that others have opportunities to both learn and view quality circus regardless of location or other accessibility obstacles. Previously, Acrobatch has run numerous circus workshops, artist and trainer mentoring and other community engagement activities for local governments and community groups, as well as having completed multiple tours through the South West and the Pilbara teaching and engaging with local communities there.
We are also happy to run community workshops, Q&As, artist mentoring, train-the-trainer circus sessions or any other community engagement offerings that might be required – feel free to open up the discussion around what might be the most beneficial for your community – we love to chat and figure out where we can be most effective specific to your community’s needs.
Workshops
Acrobatch offer a variety of circus workshop options as a means for delivering impactful community engagement outcomes specifically designed to best serve your participants and community. Our workshops can be adapted for a wide range of demographics ranging from general youth or adults to amateur sporting/arts clubs to First Nations engagement to adults living with disability. Please note that during the peak event season (Nov-March), we may only offer workshops as add-ons to performance bookings due to the limited number of team members and kit bags available for this offering.
Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you’d like more information about these services.
“Their ability to tailor activities and create a welcoming, inclusive environment ensured that everyone felt comfortable, valued, and able to participate. It was wonderful to see so many different members of our community engaging with the workshops and embracing the experience. The team were warm, approachable, and passionate, creating meaningful connections with participants of all ages and abilities. I would gladly welcome them back to Port Hedland and I absolutely recommend them!!!” – Azyll Gujadhur, Town of Port Hedland
